One Year!

Plus some…it was one year on November 21st! It does not seem possible. The last year just flew by. We put together a graphic of all the great things that have happened in the last year and I am still not sure how it all happened but it did. AND I am here for even more in year 2.

Big things have been happening for kids and families and that is the foundation of this agency! Generational healing and growth is our motto and I have witnessed so many good things: positive healthy connections and relationships, growth, kindness, healing, and hope. I am fortunate to be a part of these families journeys.

Recently every family was gifted with the funds to do a family activity, something they normally would not do. Oh man, have I loved the outcomes. This is where healing takes place; in the intimacy of connections through activities that bond us and further develop relationship. This is where trust is built and memories are made.

I am beyond thankful to everyone that has been on this journey, my family, Child Welfare Professionals, my State Team, and each and every single family that I have had the pleasure to work with. Some for home studies and others for certification. Each family is doing their best to help children and I am blessed to be a part of that journey. I am looking forward to year 2 and the work it brings to help strength families and communities.
